The deputy of the Mexiquense Congress, Joanna Felipe Torres, highlighted the importance of financial education to ensure economic security and gender equality. She announced her intention to promote initiatives to include financial education in the curricula starting from primary education in the state.

"So that girls and boys are not afraid to handle money, are not afraid to invest their little money, it is important that financial education becomes another subject, therefore, soon we will promote this initiative from the State of Mexico," said the deputy during the program 'Women with Voice'.

She explained that with this proposal, she aims for new generations to acquire financial tools from an early age, which will promote greater inclusion and security in making economic decisions. In the same context, the president of the Financial Inclusion Commission of Coparmex Mexico City, Alicia Chávez, emphasized that the inclusion of women in the financial culture guarantees the economic security of the family.

The legislator from Cuautitlán Izcalli pointed out that despite advancements, many women in Mexico, including professionals, still face insecurity when dealing with financial matters. "They still feel that fear about what will happen, how to handle a credit card, various issues that we are not accustomed to because we do not have this culture, this financial education," she concluded.
